Opening of Adore Botanicals Philippines

On November 24,  I should only be practically doing my Sparta routine. But hey! A friend of mine – Au – squeezed in to my boring schedule a pleasant surprise – an invitation to the exclusive opening of the Adore Botanicals here in the Philippines.

I am in awe when I heard that I will be attending the “Beauty Festival” for I thought it’s only for demigods. My routinary Saturday suddenly became a special day. My interest to join her was brought about by my obsession with beauty product reviews. For the last two years, I have read a lot of good reviews about Adore and even comparative ones with those that I use. Some of those comparisons are with my favorite brands. I haven’t use Adore products but with those reviews, I was able to picture out how good their products are. And this event was a beginning of the realization of the adorable world.

Fast forward, we arrived at the “Beauty Festival”, which was held at EDSA Shangri-La Plaza in Mandaluyong. More than marketing Adore products, the launch entails discussions from different personalities like supermodel and restaurateur Bianca Elizalde, fitness blogger Nikki Torres and fashion designer Hindy Weber. These celebrities shared advises on women empowerment, personality development and the importance of self-care as well as some points on how individuals can adore oneself from the inside out everyday.

As we wander further into the festival, I and my friend have learned more about the products that Adore Botanicals PH offer. Based from their information materials, their products are carefully crafted for every type of skin to suit the user. Also, what I most like about the brand is that it deviates from the commercially used cosmetic preservatives. Most of the ingredients, if not all, rank low as irritants. And some are non-comedogenic, when you refer to cosDNA site.

As we drown further, we were treated to a foodgasm. I will never forget the taste and presentation of the macaroons with petals! Sumptuous indeed! Did I forgot to mention about cocktails they served?

Oh sure, I’ll never regret that fun-filled day. Also, we have been able to pamper ourselves with the coolest activities they prepared for the guests. To top it all, there were nail art, facial care, and massage stations. A complete beauty tour treat for us, how amazing is that?

I was also able to join their mini contest on Facebook. The contest promotes self-love by asking the question “How someone adores himself/herself?”. What I posted was this, “I make sure that what my beauty exudes, reflects my self-worth.” The next thing I knew is that I won! I was able to get Adore Botanicals’ Activated Charcoal cleanser as prize.

After the pampering, we decided to visit the store and got the chance to try their products. My friend was curious about the cost of each product. I asked for the price list and little did we know that each are worth roughly Php 3,000 and up. These are already considered luxury beauty items. I just hope that their products are worth our gold.

Before we head out, we were given some gifts by their marketing team. Those holiday gifts include Facial Milk Essence and Facial Hydrating Cream. The next big thing for this blog is the review of these products. I assure you that I will  share my honest thoughts on these products on a different blog post. Watch out for that!

In summary, the whole event was enjoyable and self-empowering. It was really worth attending because going there tested our patience as we stride the long stretch of EDSA. More than the presents and pleasantries we received, our key takeaway from this event is that beauty should be the embodiment of how one perceives oneself. #AdoreYourSelf
